Week 7

We have had another busy week in Room 1, with lots of exciting, fun things going on. On Monday Abi and Nicole joined our class and we had our Year 1 assembly with Mrs Durkin. 

We also went on our trip to Polyfest this week, where we saw some great performances... and John Key!

 On Friday we went to visit our buddy class, Room 22, where we did some reading and learned some new playtime games.

Continuing on from our work with Mrs Elmore last week, we have also been sorting rubbish in Statistics, as well as making some 'Packet Monster' posters to remind us to bring litter-less lunches to school every day.

Weeks 5 & 6

We have had a very busy few weeks with lots of new children joining our class! We have welcomed Eloise, Luca, Josh, Mark,  Louis, Harry, Frankie, Ben and Marlow. We have also started PMP in the hall every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 2pm - thank you so much to those people who have come along to help - we really appreciate your support. 

On Thursday Mrs Elmore came along to teach us how to sort our rubbish correctly when we're outside, and our Tidy Kiwis have done a great job this week!

Next week we are really looking forward to our trip to ASB Polyfest on Thursday, which looks like it's going to be lots of fun!
