Week 9

We were all very excited this week to use our lovely new deck! We have really enjoyed eating our morning tea and lunch in the sun! We also went to the Garden to Table room to make star biscuits, as part of our learning about Matariki. Thanks so much to Oscar's and Isla's mum who came along to help. 

Week 7 & 8

Welcome to Oscar, Isla, Sophie, Zara, Tom, Alexander, Tilly, Justin and Miss Pratley who have all joined our class over the last few weeks. 

The deck is almost finished and looking fantastic! The children are very excited and have lots of interesting ideas about how we can use and decorate it!!

We have also been learning about our value for this term - cooperation. We talked about what cooperation is and what it might look like, and then worked together to make a model or do a puzzle.

Week 6

This week Austin and Marcus joined Room 1. We were lucky enough to see some fantastic Samoan dancers from Auckland university, as part of Samoan Language Week. We also went to the Life Education bus for our second visit to Harold. We learned all about how to look after our bodies, stay safe and be kind to our friends.

Next week we are looking forward to Miss Prately joining our class. Please also return any outstanding fitness-a-thon money to school. Thank you.
